Practice Tanwīn, Madd, and Leen

Drill combining tanwīn (lessons 5), natural madd (lesson 7), and leen letters (lesson 8). Focus on length precision do not rush the elongations.

Reading Rules Checklist Before You Start

  • Tanwīn two stacked marks at word end → add "n" sound
  • Madd Ṭabīʿī vowel + matching elongation letter (ا و ي) → 2 counts
  • Leen و or ي after fatḥah, both sākin → soft 2-count glide

Drill: Words Containing Tanwīn + Madd

كِتَابًاkitāban madd in "tā", tanwīn fatḥ at end
نُورًاnūran madd wāw in "nū", tanwīn fatḥ
عَلِيمٌʿalīmun madd yāʾ in "lī", tanwīn ḍamm
