Al-Arabiyya Bayna Yadayk Arabic Between Your Hands
About this Course
Al-Arabiyya Bayna Yadayk (العربية بين يديك "Arabic Between Your Hands") is a six-book series published by the Arabic Language Institute (Al-Waqf Al-Islāmī Foundation, Riyadh), authored by a team of senior Arabic educators: Dr. ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Ibrāhīm al-Fawzān, Dr. Mukhtār al-Ṭāhir Ḥusayn, and Dr. Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Khāliq Muḥammad Faḍl. It is used as the core Arabic curriculum in universities and institutes across the Muslim world.
The series integrates all four language skills reading, writing, speaking, and listening from the very first lesson. Each of its three levels comprises two books (Parts A and B), with sixteen thematic units per level. Conversations, grammar explanations, authentic texts, and exercises progress in carefully calibrated steps, building genuine communicative ability alongside a deep grammatical foundation. Qur'ānic vocabulary and Islamic culture are woven throughout every level.
Students who complete all three levels are well-equipped for study at Arabic-medium institutions and for engagement with classical Islamic texts.
