Celebrate in Arabic ʿĪd al-Fiṭr, ʿĪd al-Aḍḥā, weddings, and family occasions. This final Level One unit consolidates everything you've learned and prepares you for the intermediate level.

نَحْتَفِلُ بِعِيدِ الْأَضْحَى بِصَلَاةِ الْعِيدِ وَذَبْحِ الْأُضْحِيَّة
Naḥtafilu biʿīdi l-aḍḥā biṣalāti l-ʿīdi wa-dhabḥi l-uḍḥiyya
We celebrate ʿĪd al-Aḍḥā with the Eid prayer and the sacrificial slaughter.
- كُلُّ عَامٍ وَأَنْتُمْ بِخَيْر: The classic Eid greeting literally "every year and may you be in good." A complete nominal sentence.
- بِ + verbal noun: نَحْتَفِل بِ (we celebrate with) the preposition بِ governs the verbal noun in genitive.
