لَا تَقْتَرِبْ مِنَ الْحَرِيقِ وَانْتَظِرْ رِجَالَ الإِطْفَاء
Lā taqtarib min al-ḥarīqi wa-ntaẓir rijāla l-iṭfāʾ
Do not approach the fire and wait for the firefighters.
- Imperative construction: Remove present-tense يَـ prefix + add sukūn on final letter: يَتَّصِل → اِتَّصِلْ.
- Prohibition لَا + jussive: لَا تَقْتَرِبْ (do not approach) the verb loses its final vowel in jussive.
- فَوْراً: "Immediately" an accusative adverb (ẓarf al-zamān).
- Islamic calm: تَوَكَّلْ عَلَى اللَّه (trust in Allah) alongside practical precaution both are Islamic responsibilities.
