Jāʾa ṭ-ṭullābu kulluhum illā ṭāliban wāḥidan
All the students came except one. كُلُّهُمْ = tawkīd; طَالِباً = exception (accusative after إِلَّا)
- All eight structures above are تَوَابِع (followers) or accusative structures mastering their cases makes reading Arabic texts much easier.
- At this point you can parse (make iʿrāb of) most sentences in standard Arabic prose.
- Book Two Part Three (Lessons 60–65) covers conditional sentences, demands, exclamation, warning, praise/blame, and a final review.
- The Quranic verse 4:135 above contains vocative, imperative, ḥāl (قَوَّامِين), and a lām of purpose practise identifying all elements.
- Review strategy: take any 10-word Quranic sentence and apply iʿrāb case, definiteness, function to every word; this is the highest-yield revision activity at Book 2 level.
