"And you do not will except that Allah wills indeed Allah is ever Knowing, Wise." (76:30) Review: exception (إِلَّا), masdar muʾawwal, إِنَّ, kāna.
- The review verse (18:107) contains: إِنَّ, ism al-mawṣūl, kāna (delayed subject), pre-posed predicate, iḍāfa, ḥāl/tamyīz nearly every Book Two structure in one sentence.
- 76:30 demonstrates: مَا…إِلَّا exception + أَنْ + subjunctive (masdar muʾawwal) + إِنَّ + kāna a rich review sentence.
- At this stage you can parse most Arabic prose grammatically and read with dictionary support the foundation for Quranic tafsīr study.
