إِنَّمَا الأَعْمَالُ بِالنِّيَّاتِ وَإِنَّمَا لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ مَا نَوَى
Innamā l-aʿmālu bi-n-niyyāti wa-innamā likulli mriʾin mā nawā
"Actions are only by intentions, and every person gets only what they intended." (Ḥadīth al-Bukhārī 1) Parse: إِنَّمَا (restriction particle) + الأَعْمَال (mubtadaʾ) + بِالنِّيَّاتِ (khabar jār wal-majrūr) + لِكُلِّ امْرِئٍ (khabar muqaddam) + مَا نَوَى (mubtadaʾ muʾakhkhar مَا relative clause).
Reading from Classical Arabic 35:29
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَتْلُونَ كِتَابَ اللَّهِ وَأَقَامُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنفَقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً يَرْجُونَ تِجَارَةً لَّن تَبُورَ
Inna lladhīna yatlūna kitāba llāhi wa-aqāmū ṣ-ṣalāta wa-anfaqū mimmā razaqnāhum sirran wa-ʿalāniyatan yarjūna tijāratan lan tabūr
"Indeed those who recite the Book of Allah, establish prayer, and spend from what We have provided them secretly and openly hope for a transaction that will never decline." (35:29)
- إِنَّ + اسم إِنَّ (الَّذِين, accusative via attachment) + خَبَر إِنَّ (يَرْجُون present-verb sentence as predicate).
- يَتْلُونَ: Five-Verb in indicative (nūn present); direct object كِتَابَ (accusative, first noun of iḍāfa with اللَّه).
- مِمَّا = مِنْ (partitive) + مَا (relative pronoun) "from what We provided them" مِنْ here is tabyīnī partitive.
- سِرًّا وَعَلَانِيَةً: both accusative ḥāl describing the manner of spending (secretly and openly).
- تِجَارَةً لَّن تَبُورَ: تِجَارَةً = mafʿūl bihi of يَرْجُون (accusative); لَّن تَبُور = naʿt jumlī (adjective clause for the indefinite noun).
